UNIFORMLY AND FINELY BOUND BY BOZÉRIAN JEUNE (signed on one of the spines), early 19th-century gold-tooled straight-grained red morocco, panelled sides with roll-tooled borders, small tools massed in the corners and in the compartments of the spines, straight-grained blue morocco doublures with gold-tooled borders, silk liners gilt, vellum flyleaves, edges gilt.
The editio princeps of the "Parallel Lives" was published by Giunta of Florence in 1517 (see lot ...). (3)
