Two works in one volume, 2° (337 x 216mm.). Ruled in red throughout, first title and verso of conjugate leaf printed in red and black (second work without folding plates). Later speckled calf gilt, covers with triple fillet border, large fleur-de-lys at corners and centrally placed arms of Cardinal Mazarin (Olivier 1529, fer 4), spine gilt in seven compartments, red morocco lettering piece in one, g.e. (joints slightly split, neat repairs to upper joint and cover). Provenance: Mazarin College (binding); Thorold family (Syston Park bookplate). Adams H-397 & 403.
