AN IRISH 'UNION' DECANTER AND STOPPER of club shape, inscribed THE LAND WE LIVE IN on a ribbon cartouche above an anchor entwined with rope, the reverse with a shamrock flanked by a rose and a thistle-spray, the lower part with hammered flutes and the neck with two double-milled collars, with moulded bull's eye stopper, 30cm. high; and a pair of rummers, the tapering ovoid bowls similarly inscribed above an anchor entwined with rope, the reverses with a scotch thistle, the short stems with annular knops above plain feet, 13cm. high, early 19th century (3)
