engraving, circa 1610, presumably first state (of two) (unknown to Bartsch), before the sitter's name in the upper corners, a very fine impression, the guiding lines for the text at the bottom clearly discernible, printed with a delicate tone, with an indistinct watermark, with small margins, the left edge very skilfully supported in places on the reverse, generally in very good condition
