etching with drypoint and engraving, 1643, a fine, sharp and black impression, with very good contrasts, with considerable burr to the drypoint lines, the sulphur tinting clearly discernible, watermark Foolscap, with thread margins in a few places, otherwise trimmed on the platemark, shaved fractionally into the subject at the top of the left edge, a small made-up loss towards the top of the right edge, the tip of the lower left corner made-up, a nick at the lower edge, two or three tiny glue spots, tiny surface abrasions at the extreme left sheet edge
