The artist takes his name from the drawing of a witches' sabbath in the Victoria and Albert Museum, P. Ward-Jackson, Italian Drawings, 14th-16th Century, London, 1979, I, no. 519, illustrated. Drawings by the same hand are in the British Museum (1955-7-22-2) and in the collection of Janos Scholz
