A FINE GEORGE III TWO-HANDLED CIRCULAR TEA URN, STAND AND LAMP, the shaped-square stand on four ball feet and with detachable vase-shaped lamp and later cover, the detachable urn on four leaf-capped lion's paw supports and with shell and leaf-capped lion's mask reeded scroll handles, everted rim and domed cover with crest finial, the urn chased with a band of basketweave and with lion's mask and fluted spigot and anthemion tap, engraved with a coat-of-arms, by Paul Storr, 1808, the lamp cover 1829, lacking maker's mark 14¼in. (36.5cm.) high

The arms are those of Ormonde for Walter, Marquess and 18th Earl of Ormonde K.P. (1770-1820), who married Anna Maria Catherine (d.1817), only daughter and sole heiress of Joseph Hart Pryce Clarke, of Sutton Hall, Derbyshire, on 17th March 1805
