A GEORGE II SCOTTISH PROVINCAL TEA SERVICE, comprising, inverted pear-shaped teapot on circular spreading foot, with leaf-capped curved spout and hinged domed cover with baluster finial, sugar bowl on three lion's paw feet and with gadrooned waved rim and cream jug on three plain hoof feet, with double scroll handle, curved spout and shaped rim, the bases of each engraved with the initials JA and MB, the teapot engraved with a narrow band of foliate scrolls, by Coline Allan, Aberdeen, circa 1740
