AN ATTIC BLACK-FIGURE EYE CUP, each side with a pair of large eyes, eyebrows and nose, with nostrils in added purple on one side, with palmettes and tendrils to the sides and underneath the two handles, the footed stem, lower bowl and handles are black-glazed, the interior is black-glazed with a central reserved roundel with black circle and dot, repaired, circa 530 B.C.
