A REGENCY BRASS-MOUNTED AND INLAID ROSEWOOD COMBINED WORK AND GAMES-TABLE inlaid overall with foliage, the top centred by a rectangular glazed panel inset with a painting-on-vellum of a spray of flowers flanked by D-shaped overhanging sections with galleried tops and mahogany-lined drawers, the body with three drawers, the top fitted for chess and backgammon, the centre with a red velvet-lined writing-slide and the base with a fitted slide above a brocade-lined drum-shaped work-basket on a semi-circular support and concave-sided quadripartite base, hipped downswept legs and brass caps
