inscribed and dated on the reverse of the paper: Sept. 6th 1822/looking S.E. - 12. to 1. o'clock/wind brisk and west/fresh and bright between showers/much the look of rain all the morning/with expect. Rain - but very fine/and Grand all the afternoon and sunny/
