A SELF-COCKING SIX-SHOT PERCUSSION PEPPERBOX REVOLVER with case-hardened fluted barrels engraved at the muzzles and numbered from 1 to 6, case-hardened action engraved with scrolling foliage, signed in full on one side and engraved 'Improved Revolving Pistol' on the other, engraved bar-hammer, engraved trigger-guard and hinged butt-trap cover, chequered walnut butt, vacant silver escutcheon, and traces of original finish: in relined and refitted mahogany case (lid escutcheon missing) with trade label and copper flask, by J.
