The four prototypes as follows: Bopparder chair by Thonet (1835/40), Postsparkassen chair No. 271 by Otto Wagner (1904/5) , Green Street chair by Gaetano Pesce (1984) and Panton Stool by Verner Panton, (1959/60), the remaining production series including classic models by Hoffmann, Mackintosh, Aalto, Rietveld, Breuer, Arad, Bertoia, Frank Lloyd Wright etc., each in individual crate, with printed model details

Lot Essay

The four prototypes are models which are not yet in production but are under development for inclusion in the existing range of thirty-four produced by The Vitra Design Museum.
