Ponsot have an exceptional reputation as wine makers. Their Monts Luisants is something of a curiosity, being the only Premier Cru white Burgundy made with Aligote grapes from old vines. In the blend is 45 Aligote from vine planted in 1911 and 10 from vines planted in 1933
