A LARGE CARVED OAK CHIMNEYPIECE AND OVERMANTEL, the overmantel with a heavy cornice, above a panelled body decorated with four pendant garlands, the chimneypiece with a rectangular shelf with heavily moulded edge, the opening with a broad repeating foliate border, the jambs decorated with scrolls and pendant garlands, on a plinth base (chips; some splitting; repairs; the central panel of the overmantel later and a with photographic reproduction of a still life of flowers and fruit; traces of gilding to carving), possibly Friesian, 19th century
