A GEORGE III CARVED PINE OVERMANTEL AND CHIMNEYPIECE, with a breakfront pediment carved with foliate and egg-and-dart borders, above a central panel surmounted by a carved barrel frieze and flanked by foliate scrolls, the jambs each headed by a rosette and decorated with pendant rocaille and foliate ornament, the chimneypiece shelf with carved foliate and dentil edges, above a barrel frieze carved with scrolling foliage, the opening with marblised wood inground and egg-and-dart border, flanked by foliate scrolls, each on a block foot; and a pine chimney-breast panel with moulded dentil cornice (the inground later; the mantel and overmantel re-framed and reconstructed, the picture panel replaced; the chimney-breast flank later; repairs and restorations)
