Claudius (A.D. 41-54), silver Cistophorus, mint of Pergamon, undated, 11.5 g., TI CLAVD CAES AVG, bare head left, rev. COM--ASI either side of distyle temple inscribed ROM ET AVG on entablature, and containing standing figure of Claudius holding spear being crowned by female figure holding cornucopia (RIC.120; BMC.228; C.3), extremely fine with an attractive portrait enhanced by even gray toning
