A PAIR OF ORMOLU AND CHINESE PORCELAIN-MOUNTED TWO-BRANCH CANDELABRA

Each with a blue parrot on a purple ground and a breakfront panelled oval plinth issuing from acanthus-foliage two spirally-twisted scrolling branches terminating in foliate drip-pans and flowerhead-cast nozzles, on part-gadrooned feet, both parrots with restored breaks

A pair of candelabra of identical model but with marble base were sold anonymously at Sotheby's London, 14 June 1996, lot 63.
