The glazed circular dial with metal face with Roman and Arabic chapters, signed 'THIOUT L'AINE PARIS', below a satyr's-mask flanked by foliate scrolls, the pedestal with moulded rectangular top above a guilloche-frieze and waisted tapering base inlaid with brass-banding with a maiden's mask to the top, the central glazed escutcheons above a further satyr, on a moulded plinth base, restorations and partially remounted
