A PAIR OF VIENNESE GILTWOOD SIDE CHAIRS
Late 18th Century
Each with an oval back with beading surmounted by a panelled rail with husk-trails flanked by conforming uprights and terminating in foliate finials and flanked by male herms, the bowed panelled seat-rail with beading on square tapering fluted legs headed by a patera and terminating in foliate feet, not upholstered, one toprail with restored break, both with paper label to inside of front seat-rail inscribed '490.', one with further label inscribed '21.', possibly North Italian (2)
