Late 17th Century
Woven in wools and silks, depicting two large cranes flanking a central tree and a rosebush and standing before a vista of a hilly landscape with various buildings, to each side with further trees and birds, within a foliate scrolling border with vases of flowers and within a blue outer slip, inscribed M. R. DE FELLITIN P.D, minor reweaving and patching, the blue outer slip partially replaced to the top left
