Of Louis XIV design, the chocolate brown field with floral sways linked by ribbons together with acanthus leaf vine entwined with serpents terminating in fruit swags and olive branches around a dusty pink and rust-red roundel with an outer band of oak-leaf vine enclosing acanthus-leaf shells and pediments and acanthus-leaf roundel centrepiece in a moulded lozenge acanthus leaf border between plain stripes, backed
