U5 1887 (3 Oct.) U5 registered to Germany, bearing 1884 2d. grey and 1885 4d. deep mauve clearly tied by fine "AKUSE" c.d.s. (Type 2) in blue, showing two further strikes on face along with red crayon "3", oval-framed "R" in red, Accra (5 Oct.), Liverpool and London transit d.s.; the U5 with small tear at top of face panel and with some slight soiling, nevertheless a scarce and most attractive franking.
