U5 1865 (6 Aug.) blue U5 registered to Dublin, bearing 1856 2a. yellow pairs (3) and single, and 1860 8p., each cancelled by poor "B/172", showing red crayon "1/3", rare framed "REGT LETTER NO" h.s. (Proud Type R2) in red and, on reverse, "SINGAPORE/P.O." c.d.s. and "H & K PACT" transit c.d.s.; the U5 with some peripheral stains which also affect the adhesives. A rare and colourful franking.
