A pair of pearlware models of hawks
Circa 1800, Staffordshire or Yorkshire
Decorated in Pratt colours, their incised feathers sponged in ochre and green, their beaks and breasts in yellow, with raised ochre eyebrows, brown eyes, legs and feet, stooped astride waisted oval green tree-trunk bases lightly enriched in ochre (one cracked through body and restored and with damage and restoration to base, the other with minute chips to edge of base)
