A pair of Bow figures of a gallant and companion
Circa 1765, the gallant with blue crossed lines mark
The gallant wearing a gilt-edged pink-lined flowered ankle-length coat with pink collar and blue cuffs, blue and gilt breeches and black shoes, his right hand raised to his mouth, his companion in yellow-lined pink dress, black and white bodice and layered blue and gilt-edged flowered skirt, both standing on four-footed scroll-moulded bases enriched in blue, puce and gilding and applied with coloured flowers (the gallant with minor chipping to foliage, she with restoration to her hat, right forearm and hand, foliage and the rear right foot of base)
