A 16-BORE D.B. PIN-FIRE SPORTING GUN with etched twist sighted barrels signed in full in gold and silver on the rib, hinged iron fore-end, pivoting trigger-guard, long tang, signed back-action locks, highly figured walnut butt, cheek-piece carved with a flowerhead, iron butt-plate, and engraved silver escutcheon gilt against a blued ground with the crowned arms of Salm within mantling, the fore-end, locks and mounts retaining their case-hardened finish and engraved throughout with strapwork and foliage, sling swivels (one missing), and much of its original finish, by A.
