ANOTHER, with earlier heavy two-stage sighted barrel dated 1612 at the breech and struck with two indistinct marks (back-sight damaged), earlier plain rounded lock (a working replacement), moulded figured walnut half-stock (butt wormed) carved with foliage in relief behind the barrel tang and on the underside of the fore-end, large rounded cheek-piece, shaped iron mounts, and iron ramrod: on its wrought iron stand decorated with applied rosettes, early 18th Century
