FLINTLOCK WENDER FOWLING-PIECE with signed sighted barrels engraved with scrollwork and foliage at the breech and stamped with brass-filled barrelsmith's marks (Neue Støckel 4372), signed flat bevelled back-action lock (forward retaining screw missing) engraved en suite with the breech and with beadwork around the borders, moulded lightly carved figured walnut full stock (butt wormed, fore-end tip cracked), engraved and chiselled iron mounts, the front of trigger-guard forming the barrel-release, faceted iron ramrod-pipes, engraved iron escutcheon, and original iron-capped ramrod, by Philippe De Selier, Liège, circa 1720
