A RARE PAIR OF ALSATIAN FLINTLOCK HOLSTER PISTOLS, with two-stage barrels struck on each breech with Strasburg mark (Neue Støckel 1633) and maker's mark (Neue Støckel 608), flat locks each struck with a further Strasburg mark and with flush-fitting cock retained by a rosette-shaped bolt, each tail incorporating a sliding safety-catch, full stocks (minor chips and cracks), iron mounts including trigger-guards with pierced finial (one finial incomplete), single iron ramrod-pipes, and associated wooden ramrods, by Daniel Krauss of Strasburg, circa 1650-60
