An Alcora oval tureen, cover and a stand
Circa 1770
Of silver form, moulded with rocaille scrollwork, painted with buildings, bridges, rivers, trees and bouquets of flowers, the cover with entwined double fruiting branch finial (fritting and chipping to rim of cover, extremities of finial, rim of tureen, handles, moulded scrollwork and rim of dish, crack and star-crack to body of tureen, minor rim cracks to stand)
