Circa 1760, manganese C mark
Boldly painted with an Oriental in a manganese winged hat flanked by yellow boughed palm trees between concentric manganese line rims, the loop handle with blue scrolls and the hinged pewter cover with ball thumbpiece (star crack to the glaze of the base of interior)
