A Chantilly blue and white (à la brindille) part dinner-service
Circa 1770, blue hunting horn marks
Painted with scattered stylised flower-sprays, comprising:
Thirty-two foliate plates, 9½in. (24.2cm.) diam. (four with chipping to footrim, one with a small chip to rim)
Four shallow foliate dishes, 8in. (20.4cm.) diam.
Fourteen cream-pots and covers, spirally gadrooned with compressed domed covers and ball finials, 3in. (7.6cm.) wide (one with crack to handle and chip to footrim, two with minor chips to footrim, two with base of handle chipped, one with a chip to base of handle and rim, two cracked, six covers with small rim chips, one cover cracked) (32)
