A George III mahogany longcase clock, the case with raised shaped panel to the plinth, brass capped and reeded quarter coloumns flanking the arched flame veneered trunk door, similar detached columns supporting the breakarch top with shaped cresting and three ball-and-spire finials, the dial signed Frans. Hobler, London. on an arched plaque in the matted centre with calendar aperture and large diameter subsidiary seconds ring, brass chapter ring with pierced blued hands, foliate spandrels, strike/silent ring in arch, the five pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement
