A George III lacquered longcase clock, the case re-decorated with raised gilt chinoiserie to the plinth with later foot, similar decoration to the arched trunk door and to the hood with pagoda top and surmounted by gilt ball finials, the dial signed R. Todd Scarbrough on the silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds in the matted centre with calendar aperture, later blued hands, foliate spandrels, the arch now with rocking ship automaton, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement, composite and restored
