Registration No. HGL 150
Chassis No. S824271DN
Engine No. V3104-8
Right hand drive.
The last of the traditional and immensely successful XK sports cars, the Jaguar XK150 was perhaps the greatest of the Coventry company's models until the introduction of the E-Type in 1961. Under 10,000 of these cars were manufactured between 1957 and 1961, and the 150 was the first to carry Dunlop disc brakes as standard following their lengthy development on the Jaguar sports racing cars.
This example started life as one of the desirable S models with the high performance engine and features such a triple SU carburettors. The S insignia remains on the coachwork, however the engine is now fitted with twin SU carburettors. The upholstery and interior trim have been recently restored and are in very good condition. The coachwork is finished in an attractive shade of British Racing Green. Some invoices are available with the car showing much mechanical work to the engine and gearbox has been carried out in the last two years totalling some #9,000.
Following this work, the owner informs us that the car is in fine running order and is being offered for sale with a highly suitable registration number.
