A pair of Meissen teacups and saucers
Circa 1740, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummer 66 to one teacup and 64 to saucers
The teacups with three miners before a pile of ore and with two miners sifting ore beside a large barrel with a further figure in the distance, the saucers each with a single figure, one holding a pick over his shoulder, the other standing and using his pick as a walking stick (rubbing to gilt rims) (2)
