A Meissen silver-gilt mounted cartouche-shaped snuff box Circa 1745
Modelled by J.J. Kändler, the cover surmounted by a reclining pug dog and edged with a gilt baroque scrollwork band reserved with four puce harbour scene medallions, the sides, base, cover and cover interior painted with garden scenes with various figures around fountains and garden statuary before buildings and distant hills (minor rubbing to enamels and gilding)
