An Alwyn Carr silver goblet, flared cylindrical form, on flared foot, with repoussé decoration of bows and swags and a running band of oak leaves with acorns, set with jade, the rim and foot detailed twisted rope bands, the foot inscribed I was wrought for The Honble Lady Hulse by desire of Mrs Jervoise of Herriard as a memento of her re-donating the Challenge cup for Hampshire Downs Ram Lambs at the Britford Great Sheep Fair. Won 1921-1922-1923, etched Alwyn Carr me facit, with maker's marks AC with London hallmarks for 1922
