The box contains a hand written note signed by Rev. Wm. Henry Turner: ' This Box was given me by Caroline the Queen of George the 4th at Rome in gratitude to me for having read Prayers to her during her stay at Rome 12 April 1820'. W. H. Turner is listed as Vicar of Dilham Norfolk, institued 1828, according to the Clergy list of 1829.
