Sidelever action, optional ejector/non-ejector, Rigby-Bissell rising third-bite, automatic safe with stalking-latch, the fences chiselled in relief with stylized acanthus leaves, best bold foliate-scroll engraving with much hardening-colour, highly-figured stock with semi-pistolgrip, the hand mounted with a folding peep-sight, sling-swivels, lever-latch forend, barrels with matt sight-rib, open-sights and bead-foresight, the breech-ends mounted with telescope-shoes

Rigby's have kindly confirmed that this rifle is the only one they have ever made in .455 Service Revolver calibre; it is almost certain that no other .455 double has been made by any other maker. It was completed on 17 December 1918 and was built for 'park deer shooting'. A previously bulged barrel has been expertly removed and the rifle has since been test-fired. It is now ready for use
