Lot Essay

INDENTCharlotte Napoléone (1802-1839) was the daughter of Joseph Bonaparte, elder brother of Napoleon. In 1826 she married her first cousin Napoleon Louis (d.1831) and died in 1839 after the birth of a natural child which did not survive. See H. Montgomery-Massingberd (ed.)
