The frame, barrel and receiver profusely damascened in multi-coloured gold, the motifs incorporating arabesque borders, grotesques, dragons, foliate-scrolls, punched and gold-plated border-work, star-bursts and concentric bands, the grips similarly embellished, with roundels containing tropical scenes of humming birds and herons amid palms, with distant views of the sea with yachts and mountains, the whole on a black japanned ground, grip safety, the barrel with open-sights
