A CHELSEA FABLE-DECORATED HEXAGONAL TEAPOT and a cover, the teapot with nearly contemporary silver spout and wood scroll handle, painted in the manner of Jefferyes Hammett O'Neale with the fable of The Wolf, the Lamb and the Eagle, the lamb with a dog beside facing a seated wolf and with an eagle and a kite perched above on the branch of a tree, the reverse with a waterfall in a mountainous river landscape with a tree in the foreground, the cover with flower-sprays and an insect within a chocolate-brown line rim (cover extensively repaired), circa 1750
