A MINA'I POTTERY BOWL rising from the short foot through eight-lobed rounded sides to a cusped rim, the white interior painted with the central figure of a horseman with streaming headscarf flanked by four pairs of figures divided by arabesque panels, the rim with a panelled blue kufic inscription on a red scrolling ground, the exterior with black naskh calligraphy, circa 1200 (areas of restoration)
