A LARGE KUTAHYA PILGRIM BOTTLE with two shallowly convex sides each with central slightly raised roundel, a short base below, the sides with loops to contain suspension rope, short tapering tubular mouth, each side painted with a radiating arcade of floral panels with blue spandrels divided by similar floral panels, the central roundel with stylised floral sprays around a central roundel or triangular motif, the foot turquoise and blue with fish-scale motifs, simple floral motifs around the mouth, 18th century (very slight chipping, three loops missing)
