TWO DAMASCUS POTTERY TILES, each with a white ground painted in apple-green, cobalt-blue, turquoise and black, the second also with manganese, one with part of a design of a blue ogival lattice linked by cusped floral roundels enclosing panels of tulip and vine sprays, the other with a similar fragment of a larger panel of parallel blue S-stems interlaced with green stems issuing tulips and a variety of complex blue pomegranite base flowerheads, second half 16th century, framed separately
