book of prayers, manuscript on ivory paper, 97ff. plus seven flyleaves, each with 11ll. of fine black maghribi, occasional words in blue or red, two sections (ff.11-12, 78-91) with gold roundels between phrases, the second with phrases written in large red, green or blue script with pointing in a contrasting colour, red double ruled margin, headings (ff.5 and 73) in ornamental kufic outlined in black on red ground in gold bordered panel with marginal palmette (damaged), (several folios loose from binding, negligable smudging and staining, folios trimmed, possibly misbound and incomplete), four opening folios with the genealogy of the Prophet in gold and white nasklh on white and coloured floral ground running across them, f.93r. with illustration of Mecca, f.94r showing the Prophet's minbar at Medina, flyleaves with copious notes in later hands
