an anthology of prayers consisting of a number of prayers by different authors, manuscript on pale buff paper, 347ff. plus 35 flyleaves, each with 9ll. of neat brown maghribi, occasional words in red or green, double red ruled margin, green outer margin, headings in gold on illuminated panels with "marginal medallion", (some staining, minor creasing on early folios, a few loose folios), opening four double folios with illuminated genealogies and tables, ff.5v. and 6r. with illustrations of Mecca and Medina, ff. 22v. and 23r. with further similar illustrations, the flyleaves with copious notes in later hands, red morocco binding with gold decoration (negligible wear), similar doublures
