On the night of 23 May 1918 H.M.Submarine H4 sighted the homeward bound UB-52 while on patrol in the Adriatic, west of Durazzo. She fired two torpedoes at 250 yards range. Both hit, and the U-boat went down in fifteen seconds. (U-Boats Destroyed - Robert M.Grant, refers)
